Armenia extends program covering 50% of agricultural costs

The Government of Armenia has decided to extend its agricultural support program, which compensates up to 50% of expenses related to sowing and harvesting.
The program applies to farms cultivating up to 100 hectares of land.
Compensation amounts
The state provides per-hectare support as follows:
- AMD 70,000 – wheat and other grains excluding corn
- AMD 85,000 – corn
- AMD 100,000 – legumes
- AMD 110,000 – forage crops
According to the Ministry of Economy, these subsidies cover around 50% of seasonal agricultural costs per hectare.
