The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia on September 16, 2025, decided to keep the key interest rate (refinancing rate) unchanged at 6.75% annually. The Lombard repo rate remained at 8.25%, and the deposit facility rate stayed at 5.25%.
The decision was made against a backdrop of moderate inflation: in August, annual inflation reached 3.6%, while core inflation amounted to 3.7%.
This is already the fifth time since June 2023 that the regulator has left the rate unchanged. The CBA notes that maintaining the current rate aims to ensure price stability and balanced economic growth.
Future decisions will be based on the dynamics of inflation, domestic demand, and developments in the global economy.
