Upay digital wallet

Upay is a digital wallet developed by the telecom operator Ucom. The main purpose of the service is to simplify payments for users of mobile communication and internet services.

Through the application, users can pay for more than 50 services, including mobile services, internet, utility payments, and transfers.

The app also supports payments for electricity, utility bills, and waste collection services. This is convenient for users who want to check utility balances online and pay them quickly in one application.

Users can also review outstanding balances before making a payment, as the app provides a feature for checking utility bills and viewing the amount due in advance.

• Mobile service payments

  The wallet supports payments for all major telecom operators in Armenia – Viva, Team, and Ucom, as well as payments for internet and television services.

• Ucom subscribers

  Upay is integrated with the Ucom ecosystem, making it convenient for the operator's users. They can top up balances and pay for services directly in the application. Users can also monitor their balance and transaction history in the app, and quickly check the balance of linked bank cards or review payment history when needed.

• Transfers between wallets

  The service supports transfers between Upay users, as well as transfers to Idram wallets, simplifying money transfers within the country.

1. How can I register in Upay?

   Download the Upay app for iOS or Android, register using your phone number, and confirm it with an SMS verification code. Identity verification may be required for certain financial operations.

2. Can I pay for services of all mobile operators?

   Yes. Through UPay, users can pay for services of all major telecom operators in Armenia – Viva, Team, and Ucom, as well as internet and cable television services.

3. Are there Upay terminals?

   Upay does not have its own payment terminal network. The wallet can be topped up using a bank card or at Ucom service centers.

4. Can I transfer money to other users?

   Yes. The application supports transfers between Upay users, as well as transfers to Idram wallets.

5. Is there a commission for transfers to a bank card?

   The commission depends on the transfer amount. For smaller transfers, a fixed fee of around 50-100 AMD may apply, while larger transfers may incur a fee of approximately 0.9% of the transaction amount.
